What is Pinda Thailam?

          Pinda Thailam is a traditional Ayurvedic massage oil. People use it on the skin to soothe painful, swollen joints and muscles. It has a cooling effect that quickly reduces heat, redness, and burning sensations. 

Medicinal Properties

• Pinda Thailam is an effective Ayurvedic oil for external application that possesses topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Its cooling effect makes it suitable for pitta- and vata-dosha-related illnesses developing in the bones, joints, muscles, and skin.                                           
• It is highly beneficial for gouty arthritis; massaging with this oil provides relief from pain, lessens burning sensations, decreases redness, joint tenderness, and inflammation, and improves joint mobility. This oil is also effective for other varieties of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, where it successfully relieves burning sensations and tenderness in the joints.         
• Massaging with this Ayurvedic oil is highly efficient in alleviating foot fatigue, burning sensations, and paresthesia.                         
• Furthermore, it is beneficial for skin conditions. It helps prevent excessive skin exfoliation, heals foot blisters, and reduces burning sensations. By reducing skin rashes, the oil also provides a defensive barrier against skin lesions.

How to Use It?

• Use this oil on your skin only. Do not swallow it.
• Warm the oil slightly.
• Rub it gently onto the painful area.
• Warning: When treating varicose veins, massage very gently in circles. Do not press hard on the veins.

• This oil must not be consumed orally. If it is accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
